The M/V Silver Lady is based in Sitka, Alaska on Baranof Island - and with regular jet service to and from the Lower 48 on Alaska Airlines, this small seaside community is ready to greet you with modern appeal, cultural heritage, and historic charm.

The Silver Lady
The M/V Silver Lady was built for your comfort. The owners have thoughtfully designed interior spaces to provide restful, quiet nights and enjoyable, comfortable days with friends and family. Each berth or stateroom is adorned with local Indigenous art, hand woven blankets, 600 thread count cotton sheets, cushy pillows, and beds crowned with locally harvested and milled, live edge, red cedar headboards. The common areas like the wheelhouse, galley, and salon are spaces where you can find endless views, a comfortable spot to read a book, enjoy our onboard prepared meals, or just take it all in with the company of your crew, friends, and family.

As our guest, we will take you on immersive excursions that take your breath away. Kayaking, hiking, and fishing are just the tip of the ice berg. The Tongass National Forest is our home and the coastal areas surrounding the ABC Islands is our playground. Your time aboard will be spent enjoying the views, but your time off the boat can be spent experiencing this wild place on foot or by paddle.

Wild at Heart
Simply put, Alaska is wild at heart. This place is world renowned for its wild spaces and your time spent aboard will offer you the opportunity to witness Alaska’s most famous residents - the wildlife. Sitka and Southeast Alaska enjoy a temperate climate, making for a relatively long season of (mostly) enjoyabe weather. The spring brings herring and amazing whale watching, while the summer and fall months bring millions of returning wild salmon. Each season affords guests with the opportunity to view and photograph all the animals that depend on Alaska’s wild fish - like brown bears, bald eagles, sea lions, orcas, sea otters, seals and more.
