Spring Specialty - Whales & Wildlife Photography Cruise

Southeast Alaska, and Sitka in particular, come to life in the spring. With the return of the herring every March, so come the whales! This time of year is much loved by the locals. And for those adventurous souls that travel north during herring season (when weather can range from rain, to hail, to snow, to peeks of stormy sunshine), they are rewarded with the opportunity to witness countless whales, sea lions, sea birds, eagles and otters as they all converge here for the arrival of the herring. You may even get to witness the famous bubble net feeding as pods of humpback whales encircle thousands of herring in a net of bubbles before surfacing with mouths open in a magnificent display of baleen, silver and birds. Fall Specialty - Hunter Transport

Captain Brian holds a Big Game Transporter license and can provide hunter transport during the fall hunting season. We can provide a basic hunter drop-off and pick-up or we can transport you and your party to a desired area and provide accommodations aboard the Silver Lady for the duration of your hunting trip. The Silver Lady can accommodate up to 6 guests for overnight stays. Please note that a Big Game Transporter license only allows us to transport hunters and provide accommodations.
